Brighton Beats (A.K.A. This Pangolin's A Dangling!)

I found Brighton to be interesting on a couple fronts.

There is the kitschy Palace Pier and boardwalk which evoke memories of teenage summers spent at Seaside Heights or Ocean City, listening to 311, drinking 40s, and making fun of every other young person on the beach because they weren't 'authentic' enough.

Then there's the part tucked away in the Lanes and in North Laine. Here, these ex-slums have been reborn into a gentrified labyrinth of vegan cafes, second-hand bookstores, vintage clothing outlets, and record stores. A very progressive enclave of culture and the arts tucked away in this bustling city.

Oh, and there's street art. A lot of street art. Therefore, Brighton gets an additional post. The first one, Brighton Beats, focuses on the street art pics I captured. The second, Brighton Memoir, is more sentimental in nature.
